A Yahoo minority investor, Dan Loeb and his investment company, Third Point are invoking the law in their investigation into Yahoo CEO Scott Thompsons background — and asking for Yahoos records. The trouble stems from Thompson listing a degree he never earned on his resume — but still being hired by the company. About a week ago, a publication as you heard with the sophisticated monitor — moniker, I should say — Salon, [LAUGHTER] included one of these inadvertent tributes to Frank. Salon hosts a variety of left wing bloggers who would otherwise have to look to their own devices in order to get their stuff out.
